JOHN KETCHAM (Producer) began work on The Hurricane nine years ago.
Concurrently, he oversaw the development of: two television movies for NBC, Holding on to
Love and Sleepwalker; and wrote and directed Concerto, as one of the winners of the UCLA
short fiction film program. He also wrote and sold an original feature script entitled, Finders/
Keepers.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Ketcham had been a reporter and freelance producer in his
native Canada. His first documentary Life Sentence, which won a Canadian documentary
award, recounted the struggle of an Amnesty International prisoner of conscience, held
captive in the former Soviet Union.
Ketcham currently resides in Los Angeles.
