Rodgers has designed costumes for such feature films as: The Color Purple, which earned her an Academy Award‘ nomination; Inventing The Abbott’s with Liv Tyler; Mr. Holland’s Opus, with Richard Dreyfuss; Something to Talk About, with Julia Roberts and Dennis Quaid; The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford; Benny and Joon, starring Johnny Depp; Beetlejuice, with Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and Geena Davis; and The Witches of Eastwick, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Jack Nicholson.

Her considerable list of feature film credits also includes such classics as The Return of the Jedi, The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Conversa-tion and American Graffiti.
